PCS-12250 HYDRO-TECH
WATER REDUCIBLE ENAMEL

DESCRIPTION: A water-reducible, high gloss enamel for interior or exterior use, has good color and gloss retention, and the ability to be applied either direct to metal or to previously-painted surfaces.

ADVANTAGES: PCS-12250 is extremely fast drying for a water reducible enamel, exhibiting very good early water resistance. It is V.O.C. compliant and has no flash point, which reduces fire hazards and may lower insurance costs. The wide variety of colors available are all free of both lead and chromate.

USES: PCS-12250 is used to coat machinery, implements, sanitation equipment, shipping containers, structural steel and as a general maintenance finish.

SURFACE PREPARATION:Remove all loose rust, loose paint, oil, grease or other interference materials prior to painting. If a primer is desired, PCS-12155 Water Reducible Primer is recommended.

MIXING: Stir thoroughly before use.

THINNING: PCS-12250 will appear heavy bodied in comparison with solvent based paints, especially in colder temperatures. However, do not thin unless necessary to achieve atomization and then do so sparingly--no more than ½ pint of water per gallon.

CAUTIONS: PCS-12250 is not flammable. Components of this product may be skin irritants and/or skin sensitizers. Rubber gloves should be worn to minimize skin contact. Avoid breathing vapors of material. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. For eye contact, flush with lots of water. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water.

See material safety data sheets for full precautions prior to use.
